Rosanna Breitman, along with her husband, Jeff Rechtshaffen, co-founded and built, from 1997 to present, the law firm Rechtshaffen, Breitman (www.torontofamilylaw.com). Located in downtown Toronto, the firm’s practice is restricted to family law.
Called to the Bar of Ontario in 1997, Rosanna spent 10 years in a traditional family law practice but shifted her focus to mediation after becoming accredited as a family mediator. She is currently working with private mediation clients, in addition to doing legal research and other behind-the-scenes legal work for Rechtshaffen, Breitman and acting as a supervising mediator with Peel Family Mediation Services.
Rosanna received her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and her B.A. in Honours Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. She completed her basic and advanced family mediation training with Dr. Barbara Landau and completed mediation interships with Dr. Landau as well as Peel Family Mediation Services in the Ontario Court of Justice. She received accreditation with the Ontario Association of Family Mediation in 2004. |
